Katie Webster - Business Strategist
HOW IT STARTED
Katie came to me after she had left behind a fabulous and successful career in retail. She was looking to move into the world of business coaching working with female entrepreneurs to help push them out of their own way to get to where they want to be. She knew this was a very busy market and was looking for help with her branding to ensure she stood out.
“I want the outside to match the inside”.
This is what Katie said to me on one of our first calls.
Katie is very straight talking and will tell you how it is. When she came to me she was concerned that her attitude to business can be seen as somewhat masculine, and although she is very direct and “no fluff” she is also very caring, has a big heart and is very feminine.
And this was my job - to get all of this across in her brand identity to reflect the brand (the woman) behind it all.
WHAT WE DID
Lots of white, and a beautiful typeface perfectly set, forms the basis of Katie’s identity. We created supporting submarks and an overall feel that would be perfect for the clients that Katie wants to work with and were reflective of the the price point that she sells at. It was also the perfect combination of “no frills” straight talking and elegant femininity.
We kept everything very simple and elegant to reflect all of the qualities and values that we had discussed her brand being. The result was a really beautiful minimal brand identity that stands out against all of the other coaching businesses out there who all have a very similar look and feel to each other.
AND THE RESULTS...
• “I’ve had an influx of new clients who want to work with me all thanks to the pride and excitement I had in sharing my brand on a consistent basis with a strong brand message and identity that match perfectly”.
• Never did I think that I could have a brand identity (on my budget) that would sit within a very competitive sector and make me feel that I could compete and new clients would judge us all on a level where experience counts”.
• Within three months of going live Katie had gone from being a complete start up to consistent five figure months.
